1、 Product introduction

Xiba PCI-E series multi serial port card / parallel port card adopts PCI Express bus interface and can be used on computers with PCI Express slots. With the development of computer technology, more and more computer motherboards are no longer integrated with serial port or parallel port. By installing Xiba serial port card or parallel port card products, the serial port or parallel port can be extended for the computer, so as to connect the serial port or parallel port equipment. It can be applied to POS machine, serial port or parallel port printer, serial port keyboard, password keyboard, serial port LED display, card reader, industrial automation control and other serial port equipment.

3、 Jumper settings

Some products of serial port card can supply power to the equipment through jumper settings. The first pin power supply can be provided. The factory default setting of the jumper is the original serial port signal function. Mark +5v, CD, +12v next to the jumper to supply power to the first pin of the serial port (mark +5v, RI, +12v next to the other jumper to supply power to the ninth pin of the serial port). Please confirm the power supply demand mode used by the equipment before connecting the serial port equipment, so as to avoid wrong jumper settings and damage to the system or equipment.

4、 Drive installation

After installing the serial port card, restart the computer, the system will automatically detect the new hardware and pop up the driver installation interface. Please click Cancel, put the driver CD into the CD, open the CD, open the Asix directory, find the installation directory corresponding to the corresponding operating system, and take XP (32-bit) system as an example to open WinXP_ Server2003 directory, open windows32bit directory, and run ax99100_ Setup. Exe, run the file, click Install in the pop-up interface, and the installer will automatically copy the driver file. After completion, as shown in the figure below, click exit to exit the installer.

Generally, the system will automatically find new hardware and complete the installation of corresponding drivers. Some computers may not be able to install drivers automatically. Please refresh the hardware manually in the device manager, and then select automatic installation in the pop-up driver installation interface.

The installation method of other versions of Windows operating system is the same as that of Windows XP.
