What are the preparations and precautions before computer assembly

1. screw

Two kinds of screws are used during installation, one is "-" type and the other is "cross" type. Magnetic screws shall be selected as far as possible, which can reduce the difficulty of installation. Because the space in the chassis is narrow, it is very inconvenient to hold the screws by hand.

2. pointed nose pliers

Pointed nose pliers are mainly used to tighten some relatively tight screws. For example, pointed nose pliers may be used to fix the motherboard in the chassis.

3. tweezers

Tweezers are needed to pull out the jumper on the motherboard or hard disk. In addition, if a screw accidentally falls into the chassis, tweezers can also be used to remove the screw.

4. multimeter

The multimeter is used to check whether the resistance, voltage and current of computer accessories are normal, and whether there is a problem in the circuit.

1.2 preparation

After you have prepared the tools needed to assemble the computer, you also need to do the following preparations: release the static electricity on your body. The static electricity on your body may damage the CPU, memory and other components, so first release the static electricity on your body

Electricity, the method is to wash hands or touch the water pipe. Be familiar with the general assembly process of the computer, and you can complete the assembly at one go. The specific process will be explained in section 13.2.

During assembly, the following matters shall be noted:

Handle the accessories with care and avoid collision, especially the hard disk.

Do not connect the power cord first. Do not touch the components in the chassis after power on.

When pulling out various boards and cards, do not use force blindly to avoid damaging the boards and cards.

Tighten the screws with appropriate force to avoid damaging the motherboard or other components.

When connecting the internal wiring of the chassis, be sure to refer to the instructions of the motherboard to avoid accidents caused by wrong wiring.
